Tongala Swimming Pool

Pool depth: Shallow end: 1.0m; Deep end : 2.4m
 Warm-up starts: 09:30am; Competton starts: 10:30am

Age: Determined as at the day of the meet
Beginners Events: For swimmers who have never successfully completed the stroke over a distance of 50m or greater. A beginner
may not swim the same stroke over a longer distance.
Individual Age Events: Age Groups will be: 9/under, 10 – 11, 12 – 13, 14 – 15, 16/over .
Open Events: For any swimmer, except Beginners.
Relay Events: Relay events will have a maximum of two boys. Age Relays will be 13/under.
Conditions: All events will be mixed gender. All events will be conducted as Timed Finals. The club reserves the right to alter, cancel
or combine events. The SV 11/under swim suit rule will apply to this Meet.
Entries: Close on Sunday 10th February 2019 at 11:00 pm.
Entry Fees: Individual Events: $6.00; Relay Events: $20.00.
Entries via the Online Entry portal, TM Entry file or SV Entry form all of which are available at www.cvs.org.au and the SV website.
Email your completed TM Entry File to tongalaswimmingclub@gmail.com. Credit card facilities are not available except when using
the Online Entry portal. A refund will only be given if the entry is rejected.
Awards: Beginner events: Ribbons will be awarded to all participants in each event. Age events: Medallions will be awarded to the
first three place-getters for each gender, in each Age Group for each event. Open events: Medallions will be awarded to the first three
place-getters for each gender in each event.
The winner of the Girls 9/under 50m Freestyle (Ev 15) will be awarded the Nestle Perpetual Trophy.
The winner of the Boys 9/under 50m Freestyle (Ev 15) will be awarded the Maccas Demolition Perpetual Trophy.
Each club is requested to supply as many timekeepers as required on the day. There will be a lunch break after Event 10, if required.
Hot and cold refreshments will be available throughout the day. Working officials will have lunch provided.
